Martin Hill | Richard Henry | Horace
Hi there race fans!
If you don't know the name behind the face you must have been in drag racing hiding. I'm Richard aka Front Man / Mr Ignition for Martin Hill's Jet car family. It all started in 1994 when Martin approached me to help him out as he was short of crew, at the time I was working for another race team. I'd seen FireForce 1 a number of times and was quite impressed by the car and was taken aback that he wanted my help.
It was a mind blowing difference moving away from wheel driven V8's to a thrust powered vehicle but what an adrenaline rush!
I've been working with Martin for 15 years now and the team has gone from strength to strength including breaking and still holding the world record! As long as Martin runs jets I will be his front man.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all our fans and spectators for their continued support and look forward to seeing you all in 2010 and beyond!
